Colocation is often the result of a single person’s initiative. They gather a small group of people in order to share the rent and charges. TGH’s approach to coliving is very different: TGH’s houses, designed by a team of young architects and interior designers, aim at providing each coliver with the right balance between moments of living in community and moments of privacy. Everything was designed to make everyday life easy and to promote leisure time, sports, film screening, etc in the best conditions. “Working from home” is also well organized in a dedicated, fully equipped coworking space. Also, many charges and services are included in the rent. In short, high quality services will help you live the coliving experience in excellent conditions.

Water, electricity, heating of your private area as well as of common areas. Also: house insurance and TEOM (local tax to dispose of garbage).

Unlimited fiber Wi-Fi connection, subscriptions to Netflix and Prime Video, common spaces cleaning 3 times a week, basic product shopping (cleaning products, basic groceries), tending of the garden, maintenance of equipment.

No. Insurance (house and liability) is included in the rent.

At TheGoodHome, we require a deposit of one month rent (charges and services excluded) from all persons with a permanent job (CDI), temporary job (CDD), free lancers, self-employed (auto entrepreneur), or on a long training period.

For people with a permanent job (CDI) no guarantee is required. For people with a temporary job (CDD), free lancers, self-employed or on a long training period, we require either a caution from someone in your close circle or the implementation of a guarantee on the www.garantme.com platform.

Of course you can! Under the condition that upon your departure, the room is back into the original state it was in, as stated in the situation signed on when you move in.

TGH sends a welcome basket to the house every time someone moves in. A welcome drink will allow you to meet and exchange with the other colivers.

No. It is an individual rent. A private area at TGH can be rented by one person. We cannot accept families.

This is your place, and it is of course OK to welcome guests. However, you should of course pay attention, out of respect for the community, to advise the other colivers when you plan to welcome guests.

Yes, but not more than 5 times a month. Beyond this limit, we consider that the extra cost incurred by de facto additional colivers (water, electricity, heating, cleaning) would mean an additional cost to be borne by all other colivers.

We love pets, but we cannot accommodate them at TGH in order not to put at risk people with allergies.

At TheGoodHome we suggest to elect (majority vote) every 2 months 2 colivers who will represent the group and be in contact with the staff and home reunions. Our recommendation would be to plan a monthly dinner at home with all colivers, prepare the menu together, cook together. That is a great way to create exchanges and moments that bind. Why not invent some community rituals ? Sunday night series? Some sports challenge?

Tensions may appear, this is human nature. Most of the times, a good discussion between the involved parties will solve the issue.

We designed the “TGH notebook” in which each coliver can write their asks to the others and, why not, suggestions to improve life as a group.

We suggest to hold two “home reunions” per month where you could read what is inside the “TGH notebook” and discuss together potential issues and solve them. The two representatives could read the content and lead the discussion.

You can leave any time, no questions asked, so long as you give a month notice.
